7/10/20 - This is a rare Nazi Mauser P.38 from 1945, with all phosphate parts. It is "svw 45" marked on the slide, of which there were only 15,000 such pistols issued to the German Army. A much smaller portion of that lot has all phosphate parts. The original phosphate finish is difficult to rate, but we estimate that this example has retained about 90% of its original finish. There is minor thinning on the front strap and areas of splotchy discoloration throughout. There are a few very light surface scratches here and there. All matching numbers. De-cocker works properly. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. Excellent grips. Comes with a proper phosphate mag.
