6/11/20 - This is a near-mint Springfield Armory M1922 MII that was made in the late 1920s. These were build as cadet training rifles, designed to mimic the M1903 Springfield. This particular example shows that the armory upgraded it from the MI, as the second 'I' was clearly added later. The parkerized finish rates at 98% with a little muzzle wear on each side of the barrel. Mint bore and stock. Unmarked stock. Excellent sling is included. Bolt action is buttery smooth. Handle is marked 'NS' and 'M2', and bolt is also marked 'M2'.
