7/8/20 -This is an extremely rare Mauser HSc from 1941. This variation with low grip screw saw only ~700 manufactured commercially, all in 1940 with high-polish finish. This variation represents the first 700 commercial HSc's manufactured, as the revision to the grip placement on the frame had already been done before production began. This likely means these pistols were already in inventory at the factory and the replacement forgings would have been ordered before the HSc came off the assembly line. This one has minty high-polish blue but was professionally restored by the renowned Gale Morgan. Terrific original grips with just a bit of handling wear on the right panel. Minty bore.
