2/8/19 - This is a very hard to find Engraved Walther Model 9. I am confident that the engraving is "factory", but there are no factory records to confirm that. The grips are slightly worn ivory and also factory original. The right grip panel is a bit loose, but could most likely be fixed with a "shim" in place under the grip, but if you know these guns, removing the grip is not something we want to mess with. It has an engraved bottom original Walther 9 magazine. The gun seems to function well, however, we are not necessarily recommending it be shot. The only part I am not sure about is the nickel finish. I believe it was originally nickel plated but may now have an old re-nickel finish. The finish does show age. Without question this is a rare factory Walther 9 in beautiful condition. It comes in a period display case, however, not a Walther factory case as there is no logo on the case. This gun comes to us as a consignment from a well known Walther collector.
