SOLD - Rare 41/42 Mauser luger - Matching Magazine

5/5/17 - This is a rare 1941 Mauser luger, with matching magazine and '42' code on the toggle.  There were only 7,000 of these produced during the war according to Jan Still's Axis Pistols!  The finish is very nice at about 96-97%, with most of the wear on the sideplate and left side of the barrel near the muzzle. All parts are matching and correct. Grips are E/655 proofed but unnumbered.  The matching magazine is correct but does have a bunch of dings in the metal for some reason.  Very nice bore, with strong rifling and only very minor frosting.
