10/13/20 - This is an original Mauser Training Bolt Action Rifle, chambered in .22LR. It was made some time before WW2. It is all matching and has "Crown U" and "Crown B" proofs. It also has a brass trigger guard assembly. Overall, it has retained most of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear, a few spots of wear on the barrel, and some high edge wear on the receiver. There are small dots of oxidation along the barrel. The barrel also has a few handling marks. There is some brown patina showing through on the receiver where there is also some light freckling. The stock is hand-checker and excellent. It appears original but was likely lightly sanded. The bore is shiny and mint. The gun comes with a post-war leather sling.
