8/12/20 - This is a complete, original Mauser M1914 rig, originally manufactured between 1923 and 1929. This one was a leftover gun issued to the Nazi police in the 1930's. From the serial number and configuration, this particular M1914 is of the fourth variation. It has a "532" on the left side of the frame. We believe this is some sort of police arsenal numbering. All serial numbers are matching. The rig is complete and comes with two matching magazines and a matching holster. The gun has retained about 95% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle and high edge wear and a few small dots of wear on the top of the slide. There is brown patina showing through on the front strap. The bore is excellent - shiny with good rifling. Excellent grip. Both magazines were renumbered at the police arsenal to match the gun. It comes with an excellent black leather holster that is also numbered to the gun. It is dated 1937 and has a Nazi police marking. This leads us to believe that this gun was originally manufactured in the 1920's and issued to the Nazi police around 1937.
