11/12/20 - This is a nice example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It is fully functional, including the de-cocker. It has retained roughly 85% of its original bluing. There is wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. There is thinning on the barrel and front strap. There is spotty oxidation on the barrel and front strap as well. Minor pitting on some of the edges of the slide and in the right slide serrations. Comes with excellent period-correct grips and one period-correct magazine. The bore is minty.
