11/16/17 - This is a Navy issued Mauser HSc from 1944. There were ~4,400 of this (4th) variation produced, with Eagle/M III/8 proof on trigger guard. This one is all original and correct with about 92% blue remaining. There is minor freckling on the slide and general thinning of the blue in a couple areas. Half-moon magazine. Left grip panel has a small chip in it. Bore shows some use but no pitting or frost.
