8/27/18 - This is a near-mint Nazi S.A.C.M. M1935A that comes out the collection of James Earl Jones. The pistol retains 99% original finish with only minor scuff marks but no notable finish loss. It comes with a correct, original holster and a certificate of authenticity that was signed and dated by Mr. Jones.
Manufactured by SACM (Societe Alsacienne Construction Mecanique) in Cholet, France. It is Nazi-marked E/WaA251 on the left side of the slide, making this the more common 2nd variation model of these pistols. Overall, they remain fairly scarce for German Army pistols of that time, with only about ~24,000 produced. The pistol has an excellent bore and would be difficult to upgrade, regardless of whose collection it were to come from.
