9/25/18 - This is a near-mint Ithaca M1911A1 in the original, matching numbered NRA box. The pistol is original and correct with only minor scuff marks and a terrific bore. The right side slide and frame have a British proof on them, suggesting the possibility that this was a lend-lease pistol. It is only about 200 digits off from a fully marked lend lease Ithaca that is documented in Clawson's book, but obviously this pistol is not fully marked as such. It has a Flannery barrel and minty grips, as well as the more scarce 'G' marked magazine with fused spine. The box shows age but is in good condition overall.
