The only government service of Franz Stock pistols were in Berlin police and Austrian custom service. The main version of this pistol was in .32 caliber; a .25 version was also manufactured in 1923-1925. About 45,000 pistols of both versions were manufactured. This is a Type 1, and only 25,000 of this variant were made. This one has minty original finish with hardly any bluing loss, but a few areas of oxidation. Crown/N proofs on barrel and slide. Excellent original grips. Bore has strong rifling but some freckling in the grooves. Comes with a pebble grain holster that has some obvious wear but no holsters or tears, and is unmarked.
