10/7/20 - This is a minty example of a Colt 1911A1 issued to the US Military in 1943. It is "US Property" marked and has a cross-canon cartouche on the tang. The slide is un-numbered, and it has a Colt barrel. This particular pistol is in beautiful condition, retaining about 98% of its original finish. There is just very minor high edge wear on the slide and frame. Very little oxidation at the base of the front strap. There are a few scratches from the takedown lever. It comes with one period-correct magazine and minty grips. The bore is nice, great rifling with some areas of light pin-pricking. Beautiful example.
