1/9/18 - This is an absolutely magnificent example of a WWI Mauser C96 "Red 9" pistol in 98-99% original condition with matching shoulder stock and leather harness. This gun is a scarce Prussian contract variation and has a large Prussian eagle stamped on the front of the magazine well. The gun is all matching and has only a hint of wear from being in a shoulder stock and a tiny nick/scratch on the left side of the frame that is not through the blue. It comes with the original matching grips in excellent condition. The fireblue is vivid on the small parts. The shoulder stock is in superb shape as well with a sharp Imperial proof mark in the wood and a matching serial number on the iron. It has no cracks or other noticeable defects aside from light field wear. The excellent leather harness is original and is maker marked and dated. It is without defects and comes with an original cleaning rod. The bore has strong rifling but shows some frosting and freckling in the grooves.
