SOLD - Mint Colt Official Police Revolver - Factory Letter

3/28/18 - This is a "like new" condition, high polish Colt revolver.  It comes in .38 caliber and the model is "Official Police".  However, in 1942 many of these were diverted for military or governmental use.  This one comes with a factory letter indicating that it went to an Ordnance Plant in March of 1942.  It says "commanding officer" but most likely was issued to a plant guard.   Excellent condition, excellent bore, excellent wood grips.   Just minor muzzle wear and roll marks.
