7/22/20 - This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe M40 helmet, single decal with no interior liner. The liner has all worn away - as shown in photos. The shell is in great overall condition though with rough 90% of the luftwaffe decal still in tact. There are no dents in the helmet, just typical paint loss and aging. Size is 56 as shown on the interior of the shell. There is a "Q" for Quist maker stamp in front of the "56" but it is somewhat hard to see.
