10/3/18 - This is an excellent all original and matching K98 bayonet. The bayonet blade has excellent bluing with no signs of sharpening or wear outside of normal scabbard wear. The blade is maker stamped "asw" and 1941 dated. The serial number on the blade matches the number stamped on the scabbard "3069r". The scabbard has the original leather frog attached and is also excellent with very minimal wear. The frog appears to have a maker stamp on the back but it's too faint to decipher.
