12/13/19 - This is probably the finest example we've ever encountered of a rare Walther P.38 variant. It is a commercial Mod. P38, one of only 1,800 produced. The pistol is all matching and original with 99% of the bluing remaining, showing just a minor hint of high edge wear. Further, it has a beautiful plum hue to the slide and frame, which is very popular with many of our customers. The front strap does have a casting flaw that is surprisingly common on these pistols. Minor bore and grips. Magazine is marked 'jvd' on body. Just an example that cannot be upgraded.
