6/18/21 - This is an excellent Winchester Model 97 Trench Shotgun issued to the US military in 1943. It is matching and has the proper flaming bomb proofs on the receiver and barrel. Proper "GHD" inspector proof on the stock. The finish is incredible - one of the best we've ever offered. Excellent high polish blue on the receiver and heat shield. All original - no reworked or replaced parts. There is a minor linear gouge on the top of the barrel, near the muzzle. The stock has a few dings on the butt stock and a small chip on the right side of the foregrip. Comes with an excellent original sling. Excellent bore - shiny with minor freckling here and there.
