SOLD - Excellent Springfield Armory CMP M1 Garand

5/2/18 - This is an excellent CMP issued M1 Garand, manufactured by Springfield Armory in July of 1950.  The finish on the receiver and barrel shows minor thinning but is overall excellent.  The stock is near-mint with only a couple very minor dings.  Bore has strong rifling and shows only minor use.  Comes with a sling, manual and the original green CMP hard case.  Note that the operating rod handle has been shaved slightly.  Not sure the cause of this, but it does not appear to affect function in any way.
