SOLD - Excellent Police Mauser Luger - Matching Magazine

1/3/18 - This is a scarce police-issued Mauser luger from World War II.  It is 1940 dated above the chamber, and comes with the original matching magazine.  The pistol is all original and matching with a desirable serial - 4000x!  The finish rates at about 97% with high edge wear, likely from a holster.  The magazine is numbered to the pistol and fully correct and original.  The barrel shows an eagle over Su16 proof, which means the pistol was re-barreled for the police, but this is common for these lugers.  There were only 3,200 of this variation produced.  Excellent bore and unnumbered grips, though they are E/655 proofed.
