11/19/18 - This is an original, scarce variation Police Eagle/F Dual Tone P.38 made in 1944. Only about 1500 of these pistols were produced at the end of WW2. The pistol has a dual tone finish with both blued and phosphate parts. The finish on these late war guns is theorized to have been rough out of the factory, as part of the German's "rushed" production efforts. The frame and slide are phosphate, which is thinning in areas and there's some discoloration on the front strap and the right side of the slide. The barrel is blued and has light muzzle wear but is in great condition overall. Finish is about 88-90% overall. The bore is a 8/10 with light patina but great condition with very nice rifling. Comes with an original magazine and correct late war grips. All parts matching and correct. Guaranteed original and authentic.
