1/26/21 - This is an excellent example of a rare "First-Issue" DWM Model 1906 Navy Luger. The gun is all matching, has the proper Navy "Eagle M" Navy proofs, and no date on the chamber. The lower portion of the safety was ground, and a new "Gesichert" was added. There is a "W. W. 1132" marking on the back strap, likely a property mark from the Wilhelmshaven depot. It comes with a proper WW1 navy luger magazine that does not match the gun. The gun is in excellent condition, having retained about 95-96% of its original finish. There is minor wear and very minor pitting around the muzzle and on the side plate. Minor wear on the front edges of the frame. Minor pin-pricking on both straps and spotty wear on the front strap. The grips are excellent and matching. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
