5/9/17 - This is a nice Walther PP, produced around 1939 for the commercial market in Germany. The finish rates at about 96%, with some patina showing through on the straps, and a minor spot of pitting in the slide legend. The pistol has proper features for the period, such as the 60 degree safety and Crown/N proofs on the slide and frame. Excellent grips with no cracks or chips. Early banner magazine. Near-mint bore.
