12/29/20 - This is an excellent commercial Sauer 38h rig, made in around 1941. The gun is Eagle/N proofed and features an earlier high-polish finish. It has retained about 95% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear, wear on the high edges of the right side of the slide, a small ding on the very back of the left side of the slide, a couple of small spots of wear on the trigger guard, and spotty wear on the butt of the gun. There is minor thinning on the straps and freckling. The gun is all matching. The grips are excellent. Minty bore. The rig comes with two period-correct magazines and holster. All are excellent.
