5/28/21 - This is a nice example of a Mauser Model 1934 sold in the commercial market in the 1930's. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown U" proofs. There is also an import mark on the barrel. It has retained roughly 75% of its original finish. There is spotty wear and discoloration on both sides of the slide and on the tang. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is significant pitting and heavy oxidation throughout. Comes with a fairly worn grip and a period-correct magazine. The bore has decent rifling with minor pitting throughout.
