6/21/21 - This is a Chinese M20 rig, manufactured in the 1960's. The M20 was a version of the Type 54 made without factory markings to conceal the weapon's origins. Many of these were provided to Vietnamese forces during the Vietnam War. This one is all matching and comes with a period-correct holster, cleaning rod, and two mismatched magazines. It has retained roughly 60% of its finish. There is thinning and patina on the straps and areas of pin pricking here and there. There is a gouge in the left grip and a small chip in the right grip. The bore has decent rifling, but there is oxidation and pin-pricking throughout.
