6/21/21 - This is a very nice example of a Ruger Single Six revolver, manufactured in 1955 and chambered in .22 LR. It comes with the original box (not numbered), owners manual, and spare set of bakelite grips. The gun features a beautiful floral engraving with a few highlights of gold inlay. We are not sure if it was done at the factory or done later. The gun has retained about 93% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle and thinning on the barrel. Some spotty oxidation on the barrel and on the frame near the loading gate. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. The base pin latch is a little loose and appears to not be spring-assisted. Excellent wood grips. Mint bore.
