11/21/23 - This is a minty example of a beautifully engraved Walther PP. This gun was originally manufactured in 1945 and was likely left in the factory at the end of the war and brought back by an American GI. The gun has no slide legend and is "ac" marked on the right side of the slide. No firing proofs. It has a mixed bag of parts such as early weighted grips and a fire-blued safety. We do not believe the engraving is factory-original. Rather, it is more likely that a GI put this gun together and hired a factory worker to engrave it for him before heading home. You can see the GI's name engraved on the front strap. Interesting gun with a very cool story. The gun is matching and in minty condition, retaining about 98% of its original bluing. There is just a hint of wear around the muzzle and minor patina on the straps. Comes with nice weighted grips - there is a crack along the edge of the left panel. Also comes with an un-marked high polish Walther magazine. The bore is stone-mint.
