9/27/19 - This is an original and correct Steyr Hahn M1912 that was reworked by Mauser for use by the German police during WW2. The Steyr Hahn 1912 was manufactured in Imperial Austria, but after the 1938 German occupation of Austria some were converted to 9mm. They were stamped '08' to indicate this conversion, E/N proofed, and accepted with the German Police Eagle/L. This pistol is all original and correct with about 97% blue remaining. There is minor muzzle wear and a couple small hints of finish loss on the slide, and the straps show some patination throughout. Minty bore and grips, aside from a small crack in the left panel from the screw being tightened too far.
