12/29/17 - This is a nice Walther PP chambered in .22 caliber. The original high-polish finish rates at 94-95% with muzzle wear on both sides of the slide, as well as some finish loss on the trigger guard and the bottom of the back strap. Serial dates this pistol to ~1940, and it has the appropriate eagle/N proofs for that date. Excellent black grips. Terrific bore. Postwar magazine.
