6/23/21 - This is a nice example of a P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" proofs. It has retained roughly 75-80% of its finish. Most of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also wear on the high edges of the slide, on the barrel, and around the muzzle. Scratchy wear on the right side of the slide. There is spotty oxidation on the left side of the slide and front strap. Minor pitting along the edges of the left side of the slide. Excellent grips and a period-correct Walther magazine that is numbered on the bottom but mismatched. The bore is near-mint. De-cocker is functional.
