8/26/20 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger P.08 issued to the Nazi military in 1939. The chamber is dated 1939 and the toggle has the "42" Mauser factory code. The right side of the slide has the proper "Eagle 655" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It is all matching. This example has retained about 90% of its original bluing. Most of the wear is on the barrel, around the muzzle. There is thinning and some spots of oxidation on the straps. High edge wear on the side plate, on the frame, and along the trigger guard. Very nice, period-correct grips - the left panel has one area of wear. It also comes with a mismatched, period-correct magazine. The bore is shiny with great rifling - just minor freckling throughout.
