7/28/20 - This is a WW2 Mauser Luger P.08 issued to the Nazi military in 1938. The chamber is dated in 1938, and the toggle has the Mauser factory code "S/42". The right side of the slide is the proper "Eagle 63" Nazi military acceptance proofs. All numbered parts are matching. This gun has retained about 92-94% of its original finish. There is very minor thinning on the straps, but most of the wear is minor muzzle and high edge wear (especially on the side plate). There is very light spotty wear on the barrel and a very small ding on the underside. There is another very small ding on the very bottom of the front strap. The grips are excellent and matching to the gun. The bore is very nice with only very minor frosting. It comes with a period-correct magazine that has the proper "Eagle 63" proof but is not numbered to the gun.
