5/21/21 - This is a nice example of a JP Sauer K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1937. It has a desirable "S/147" Sauer factory code. The gun is all original and all matching, including the stock. It has the proper early waffen proofs as well. There is spotty wear on the barrel and high edges of the receiver. Thinning on the barrel bands and floor plate. Tiny dots of oxidation throughout. The stock is nice with minor dings, scratches, and bruises throughout. The waffen proofs and serial number on the stock are crisp and visible. This is just a nice honest example of an early K98. Comes with an original cleaning rod. Excellent, shiny bore.
