View Description |
8/9/17 - This is an original, early cavalry (or dismounted style) 1911 holster. The holster is in great shape, especially given its' age. The leather has some signs of use and aging, such as surface wrinkling and light cracking in a few different areas on the holster. The leather is completely in tact with no major issues and a very nice interior. The stitching is all tight and original with no missing stitches. The front of the holster is stamped "CSC" and unit stamped "10" (or "108") as well as "241" with "52" lightly underneath the 241. These stamps are either for the famous 10th Calvary, or a similar type of unit stamp/designation. The back leather has a VERY faint maker stamp that is for the most part illegible. Guaranteed original and authentic.
