11/5/21 - This is an excellent example of a DWM Luger that was issued to the Imperial German military in 1915. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide. There is an added sear safety, indicating this gun was diverted to the police after its service during WW1. It has retained about 96-97% of its original bluing. There is very minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Some spotty oxidation on the barrel. There is just a hint of scratchy wear on the back strap and spotty oxidation on both straps. It comes with excellent matching-numbered wood grips (just a few tiny bruises) and a period-correct mismatched magazine (a small chip in the wood bottom). The bore has decent rifling with freckling throughout.
