10/28/21 - This is an excellent example of a DWM Artillery Luger rig issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial German proofs on the right side of the slide. It comes with an original matching-numbered magazine, an original matching-numbered wood stock, a period-correct leather holster (the lift is present but ripped on one side), period-correct cleaning rod, an an un-marked luger tool. The stock also has the proper Imperial proof on the back. The gun has retained about 97% of its original finish. There are just hints of wear on the side plate, high edges, and around the muzzle. Most of the wear is scratchy on the top of the chamber, around the chamber date. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are tiny dots of oxidation throughout. Comes with excellent matching wood grips. The bore has strong rifling with areas of minor pin-pricking throughout.
