10/26/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther PP that was issued to the Nazi SS in 1938. It is all matching, has the proper "Crown N" proofs, and is in the correct serial number range for an SS-contract pistol. This one also comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The whole gun and magazine have been nickel-plated, likely done by the GI who brought the gun home. It has retained about 95-96% of its nickel-plating. There is an area on the left side of the frame where the nickel-plating is chipping. There are a couple of small areas on the left side of the slide where it is chipping as well (along the high edges). There are micro-scratches in the finish throughout. Comes with very nice period-correct grips. The bore is shiny with great rifling with some small areas of very minor pitting here and there.
