9/1/21 - This is a very nice example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper police "Eagle C" proof. The rig comes with a matching-numbered police-style, one matching magazine, and a second magazine that is not technically matching but is very close. A serial number this close could mean the magazine was replaced shortly after it was issued at the police arsenal. The gun has excellent black bakelite grips and has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original military finish. Generally, there is minor thinning and patina on the straps, minor wear around the high edges of the slide and muzzle, and areas of spotty wear on the right side of the slide. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with some light scratches here and there.
