9/1/21 - This is a very nice example of an Astra 600 rig that was part of a 1943 contract with the Nazi military but were never actually delivered. These guns are in the 10501-38500 serial range and are not waffen proofed. This one is all matching and has the proper Spanish proofs. The rig comes with a nice post-war holster, one un-numbered magazine, and one mismatched numbered magazine. It is possible this gun went into police service after the war, given the holster and numbered magazine. It has nice wood grips that are slightly worn. It has retained about 92-93% of its original finish. There is spotty freckling and oxidation on the straps. Minor splotchy, scratchy wear along both sides of the slide and on the barrel. An area of pin-pricking on the left side of the barrel and frame. Very nice bore - shiny with good rifling.
