8/16/21 - This is a nice example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. The gun is all matching, has the proper police "Eagle L" proof, and has an added police sear safety. It has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the straps, where there is scratchy spotty wear, heavy spotty oxidation, and areas of minor pitting. Spotty wear and tiny dots of oxidation on the side plate and side rails. There are areas of minor wear, spotty oxidation and minor pitting on the barrel and around the muzzle. Comes with nice un-numbered grips (some light bruising here and there) and a mismatched WW2-era magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and minor frosting in the grooves.
