9/1/21 - This is a very nice example of a complete DWM Artillery Luger Rig issued to the Imperial German Army in 1917. The gun is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs. The rig comes complete with a period-correct holster, shoulder stock (not matching), leather shoulder strap, magazine pouch, original cleaning rod, an Imperial marked Luger tool, and two magazines. One of the magazines is matching to the gun but has been re-numbered. The shoulder stock is Imperial proofed, but someone wrote their name on it, possibly the GI who captured it. The closure strap on the holster is a little weak. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. There are areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the side rails, and at the base of the straps. Some minor handling marks on the straps. Comes with excellent matching grips. The bore has strong rifling with areas of minor freckling throughout.
