12/7/18 - This is an original Swedish AG 42 rifle. These were produced by AB C.J. Ljungmans Verkstäder company beginning in 1942 and roughly 30,000 were made. This rifle was made in 1945 and then was modified in the 1950s as per Ag m/42B specifications. These were minor upgrades to the gas tube, breech cover, and rear sight. The rifle metal is excellent with very nice bluing on the receiver and barrel. The breech cover is painted black and some of the pain is chipped, but most is in tact. The stock has a small crack on the forearm near the barrel band. There's also a few minor scuffs, but the stock is overall in great shape. The bore is excellent - in minty condition. Smooth operation and comes with an original cleaning rod. There is an import stamp under the barrel, as shown in photos.
