8/9/18 - This is an original pair of nazi kriegsmarine U-Boat Binoculars from WW2. The binoculars come with everything shown in photos. There are 4 lens covers that are secured in the lid of the leather case. The case is 1939 dated and has a matching maker stamp to that on that binoculars, "E. Leitz Wetzlar". The closure strap is broken, as is one of the side leather loops, and the back belt loop. The lid has a crisp, original Kriegsmarine eagle / M. The stitching on the lid is missing which creates some separation of the leather, but the original rivets are in good shape, keeping the lid in place. The binoculars have some normal wear and the exterior stretched leather is chipping in a few places - as shown in photos. This is fairly commonly found on these old binocs. The optics are crisp and the only flaw is some very minor discoloration in a small area on the left lens. The neck strap and lens cover are both in tact. Guaranteed all original and authentic!
