4/24/18 - This is an original WW2 production Walther AC 42 P.38 pistol. The pistol is all original and correct with all matching parts. The pistol has no letter suffix, so this was made in the first month of 1942. The gun has a nice overall finish, but there is some normal wear on the barrel and slide. The barrel shows some light brown patina speckling. This speckling runs lighter onto the slide but is still visible if you look closely at the bluing on the left side of the slide. The right side of the slide and barrel lacks this light speckling. There is minor edge wear on the right side of the slide. The front strap has normal thinning but there's no rust or pitting. The bore is very nice and only has minor wear. Overall a very nice collector grade pistol. Comes with a "JVD" proofed magazine.
