SOLD - Rare Walther P.38 - 480 Code

6/19/17 - This is a rare 480 code Walther P.38 in all original condition.  The bluing rates at about 85-90%, with high edge wear on the slide and some thinning on the front strap.  The pistol is all correct and matching.  There were only about 7,000 of this variation produced with 480 code on the trigger guard, making it one of the rarest P.38 variations.  Like most of the early Walther P.38's, the small parts are waffen proofed.  The grips are numbered to the pistol.  The pistol has a commercial magazine in it.  Strong bore with no major issues.
