7/30/19 - This is a great example of a very early production Naval French M1892 revolver, made in 1895. The gun is all original with nearly all of its bluing remaining, with just a hint of edge wear and a few tiny freckles here and there - as per pictures. There is also some browning to the finish throughout. The straw on the small parts is still very strong. There is no pitting evident anywhere. The gun is marked S 1895 for the year of production. All the parts match. The grips are in very good condition. Minty bore. The butt is marked with a Naval anchor, denoting issuance to the French Navy. Original holster is in great shape with no defects and a couple of illegible ink stamps inside the lid. Navy marked French M1892 revolvers are extremely scarce and this is the first such example we've come across. Antique, so no FFL is required for purchase, unless prohibited by your local laws.
