12/28/18 - This is a somewhat rare and unique P.38 made by Mauser. It was made in early 1943 (d block) and most of the finish is an original DUST blue finish. The barrel on the other hand is a high polish finish giving this gun a "dual tone" look. I have not seen another this nice or distinctly transitional from the dust blue to the later blued finish. It comes with excellent correct grips and a WaA135 marked magazine. The bore is excellent - near mint, with very strong rifling. Overall this is an excellent find, with all matching and correct parts. Guaranteed authentic and original.
