2/14/18 - This is a mint condition Mauser K98 that was manufactured in 1943 and still retains all of its original, matching parts. The bluing on the barrel and receiver show almost zero finish loss, and the stock has no dings, nicks or cracks with no signs of sanding or treating. The rifle is all matching, including the stock, bolt assembly, firing pin and buttplate. WW2 original sling, which is CGU maker marked and has a waffen mark. A few unusual, but not incorrect, aspects to this rifle include: blued buttplate (1943 sub-contractor), numbered bayo lug and the stock being unmarked aside from the serial number. Bore is shiny with strong rifling.
